Alandra Adams is a registered patent attorney and associate in Kunzler Bean & Adamson’s intellectual property group. Her practice focuses on helping clients obtain patent and trademark protection. Alandra’s other areas of expertise include patent and trademark searching and licensing.

Before joining KBA, Alandra was an IP coordinator for Technology Transfer Services at Utah State University, where she gained experience in licensing, patent searching, infringement analysis, and Bayh-Dole compliance.

Alandra graduated magna cum laude from Mitchell Hamline School of Law. Before and throughout law school, Alandra prosecuted patent applications for Fortune 500 companies as a registered patent attorney with a Minneapolis-based firm. She also represented her school in the USPTO’s patent drafting competition and helped clients obtain trademarks as a student attorney in her school’s IP clinic.

Prior to law school, Alandra obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Physics from the University of Minnesota, where she also researched synthetic protein expression.

In her spare time, Alandra enjoys running, swimming, baking, and spending time outdoors with her husband, their two daughters, and their giant dog.
