Sujay Jayanth

Sujay Jayanth is an associate patent agent in the firm’s intellectual property group, specializing in drafting and prosecuting patent applications. Sujay’s expertise also includes prior art searching, patentability analysis, infringement analysis, and patent invalidation.

Sujay earned a Master’s in Intellectual Property from UNH Franklin Pierce School of Law where he primarily focused on US patent law, patent practice and procedures, US trademark law, US trade secret law, and IP management. During law school, Sujay also worked as a student associate at the International Technology Transfer Institute.

Prior to law school, Sujay was a senior patent engineer at an IP firm in India where he managed various patent related projects for some of the Fortune 500 companies. Sujay has also earned a bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication from Visvesvaraya Technological University, India. Sujay is well versed in various technologies such as SSDs, NAND flash memory, semiconductors, electric vehicle battery system, processor architecture, surveillance systems, data centers, servers, home automation, and payments.

Sujay enjoys playing soccer, gym workouts, travelling to new places, sketching, photography, music, sci-fi movies, and astronomy.
